About me
As a visual storyteller, I enjoy receiving stories just as much as I enjoy telling them. In my documentaries, I strive to capture the unique identity of my subjects as faithfully as possible. I see each story as a carefully prepared dish: subtle, pure, and served with attention.
My documentaries focus on human well-being. This direction stems from my background working with diverse groups in the swimming industry. The intrinsic strength I encountered there continues to inspire me. Through my films, I aim to reveal the power hidden behind stereotypes. Human resilience, vulnerability, and dignity lie at the heart of my work.
I work closely with my subjects. By giving space, both literally and figuratively. I create a safe environment where they can be themselves. I partially place the direction in their hands. Together, we shape the story. This shared authorship opens a dialogue between the participants and me. This intimate approach allows me to form deeper connections with my subjects. My visual language is simple yet evocative, a collaborative interplay that leads to a more honest, authentic, and layered narrative.
